Kochi: Miss South India and former Miss Kerala Ansi Kabir and former Miss Kerala runner-up Anjana Shazan have died in a road accident on Monday in Waitilla, Kochi.
The accident happened at around 1.30 midnight near the Holiday Inn Hotel on the National Highway between Vytilla and Palarivattom.
The car that Ansi and Anjana was traveling in collided with a two-wheeler when it was coming from Whitelaw. According to preliminary information, Thrissur Abdul Rehman and Muhammad Asif were in the car with Ansi and Anjana. The two seriously injured were rushed to the Ernakulam Medical Center Hospital. Ancy and Anjana have died at the hospital.
Ansi is from Alangode in Thiruvananthapuram district and Anjana is from Thrissur.

Inspecting CCTV cameras in the store, the car may have been involved in a collision with a two-wheeler if the car was moving at high speed, police said.
